DESCRIPTION
Pro-Series® SW-325™ is a high performance latex-based construction adhesive designed for drywall applications and fabricating shear wall rated assemblies. This adhesive is non-flammable, environmentally safe and VOC compliant for all interior and in-plant construction use. Product offers fast strength development with high shear strength values. SW-325 is also well suited for many other interior construction projects where high bond strength is needed

USES
Pro-Series® SW-325™ is primarily used in the Manufactured Housing industry for recreational and prefab modular manufacturing. Designed for bonding drywall to wood or metal studs, foamboard and decorative paneling to wood furring strips or concrete walls. Product can also be used in most interior construction projects including home remodeling projects, repair maintenance projects, and other general interior projects. Building materials that may be bonded include drywall, paneling, and all types of wood trim, plywood, hardboard, particleboard, counter tops, and many other similar materials.

LIMITATIONS
· Keep from Freezing
· Do not use below 40° F (5°C).
· Not recommended for use on mirrors or underwater applications.
· Not recommended for exterior use.

SPECIFICATIONS
· Tested per ASTM E72, Section 14, Racking Load Evaluation of Sheathing Materials on a Standard Wood Frame.
· Conforms to the performance characteristics of ASTM C557.
· Meets California's low VOC requirements for adhesives.
· SCAQMD Rule 1168 V.O.C.; CARB; and BAAQMD compliant

STORAGE
Keep from freezing. Store in cool, dry place, preferably at 70º ± 5º F for long shelf life.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry and structurally sound. Surfaces must be free of dirt, dust, mud, oil film, snow, ice, standing water, and other foreign materials that may affect adhesion prior to using adhesive. Concrete or block walls must be well cured, dry, and free of any release agents. Special Note: Actual cure times may vary depending upon ambient conditions at the time of application.

General Construction Use
Pre-cut and fit all materials before applying adhesive. All materials should be glued together within 15-20 minutes after adhesive application. If work is delayed, removeexcess adhesive and begin again.

Paneling and Foamboard Panels
Apply continuous beads of adhesive to studs or furring strips (wood or metal). For wall surfaces, apply continuous parallel beads of adhesive 12-16 inches O.C. Position panel and press firmly in place. Use finishing nails or mechanical fasteners along top and bottom edges to hold panels in place. Temporary blocking of panels may be necessary until adhesive sets or if panels show evidence of warping.

Drywall
Apply adhesive in same manner as for paneling. Permanent mechanical fasteners are required 16 inches O.C. around perimeter of panels. Field fasteners may be required if gypsum board shows evidence of warping. NOTE: Field fasteners are required 24 inches O.C. for all ceiling applications in addition to perimeter fasteners when using adhesives. For Manufactured Housing applications, follow prescribed fabrication procedure and fastening schedules outlined in the respective manuals according to ASTM E72 specifications.

CAUTION! CONTAINS ETHYLENE GLYCOL.
Avoid eye contact. Do not take internally. If swallowed, may cause abdominal discomfort. Keep From Freezing.
